Pay with HSA/FSA at checkout.
Truemed's payment option appears on one-time orders. Three steps, all inside the normal checkout.
-
Choose One-time purchase.
Add RBRN Vitality Complex as a one-time order. Truemed's payment option only appears on one-time orders, so this is the choice that unlocks it.
-
Select Truemed at checkout.
Choose Truemed — Pay with HSA/FSA alongside the usual card options, then continue as normal.
-
Answer a few questions, then pay.
A short, private health survey goes to an independent licensed provider. When they issue your Letter of Medical Necessity, pay with your HSA/FSA card or split it with a regular card. RBRN never sees your answers.
Subscribe now, claim it back.
Truemed's checkout payment is for one-time orders, so subscribers use reimbursement instead. You can qualify before you buy or after — the survey is the same either way.
-
Subscribe as usual.
Pick any plan and pay with your normal card. Nothing about your subscription changes, and the price is the same as it would be either way.
-
Get your letter, before or after.
Get pre-qualified any time using our Truemed link, or wait and open the Truemed link on your order confirmation or order status page. It is the same short survey, and an independent licensed provider issues the letter.
-
Send it to your plan.
Submit the Letter of Medical Necessity with your receipt to your HSA/FSA plan and get the money back. One letter covers your renewals until it expires, typically 12 months.
What $100 pre-tax is worth.
HSA and FSA money is set aside before income tax, so a qualifying purchase spends the whole dollar instead of what is left after tax. Same $100 of wages, different purchasing power.

HSA/FSA questions
Who is eligible to pay with HSA/FSA?
That is decided case by case, and not by us. You complete Truemed's short, private survey, and an independent licensed provider reviews it against IRS rules and your own circumstances to decide whether to issue a Letter of Medical Necessity. RBRN never sees your health answers.
Your plan administrator has the final say on any claim. Whichever way it goes the price is the same, and every other payment method stays open.
What is a Letter of Medical Necessity?
A document from a licensed provider stating that a product is appropriate for a health condition you have. It is what turns a supplement into a qualified medical expense under IRS rules. Letters issued through Truemed are typically valid for 12 months.
Does it work with Subscribe & Save?
Yes, through reimbursement. Truemed's card payment at checkout is for one-time orders only, so subscribe as usual with any card, then open the Truemed link on your order confirmation or order status page to take the survey. When a provider issues your Letter of Medical Necessity, submit it with your receipt to your HSA/FSA plan and get the money back.
One letter covers your renewals until it expires, typically 12 months.
Can I combine Truemed with Shop Pay, installments or a discount code?
Truemed cannot be combined with Shop Pay, PayPal or buy-now-pay-later options. Discount codes are applied before you pick a payment method, so a Partner or GovX code still works. You can split a Truemed payment between your HSA/FSA card and a regular card.
Does paying with HSA/FSA cost anything?
No. Truemed does not charge you a fee, and RBRN's price is the same whichever way you pay.
What if I do not have my HSA/FSA card handy?
Pay with a regular card, complete the survey, and submit your letter and receipt to your plan administrator for reimbursement. Do the survey soon after ordering so the dates line up.
What if I am not approved?
Nothing changes about your order. The price is the same, every other payment method stays open, and you can check out with a card as usual. Eligibility is decided case by case by an independent licensed provider, so it is worth taking the survey — there is no cost to finding out.
