Vitamin B6 is a water-soluble vitamin that, once ingested, converts into Pyridoxal 5-Phosphate — a coenzyme that supports over 100 enzymes in your body. Those enzymes drive neurotransmitter synthesis (serotonin, dopamine, GABA), hormone regulation, immune function, and protein metabolism, making B6 one of the most broadly essential micronutrients for men's health.
We include B6 already in its active P5P form, bypassing the liver conversion step that standard B6 supplements require. That means efficient utilization regardless of individual metabolic variation — the active form reaches your system directly.

B6 is foundational for the synthesis of neurotransmitters that regulate mood, motivation, and stress response. Serotonin, dopamine, and GABA all require B6 for their production. When B6 is inadequate, neurotransmitter synthesis suffers.
For men's health specifically, B6 has an interesting role in hormone balance: it suppresses prolactin. Elevated prolactin can interfere with testosterone production and sexual function. By helping maintain normal prolactin levels, B6 supports the hormonal environment.
We included B6 as P5P at a meaningful dose that supports these functions without approaching levels that could cause issues.

Why P5P specifically? Pyridoxal 5-Phosphate is the bioactive form of B6. Regular B6 (pyridoxine) must be converted by the liver to P5P before it can be used. By including P5P directly, we ensure efficient utilization regardless of individual metabolic variation.

A study using high-dose intravenous pyridoxine (600mg IV — far higher than oral supplement doses) found that B6 suppresses the exercise-induced rise in prolactin while increasing growth hormone response. This suggests B6 plays a role in prolactin regulation, though effects at oral supplement doses are not established.
