PQQ is a small quinone molecule shown in preclinical research to promote mitochondrial biogenesis — the creation of new mitochondria. Mitochondria are your cells' energy generators, and their number and function significantly influence how much energy your body can produce. PQQ also acts as an unusually stable antioxidant, capable of thousands of REDOX cycles before being depleted, where most antioxidants are spent after a single reaction.
